Copenhagen, a stunning city to visit

We decided to head to one of the most exciting, cosmopolitan city, for our last vacation. Yes, it is none other than Copenhagen! It is one of the most beautiful cities in Scandinavia, which drew us greatly. Unlike few years back, Copenhagen has undergone a complete overhaul, which has made it more modern and exciting. Cafeterias, restaurants, night life and just about everything in here, has changed.

The entire city is full of life, though it has not lost the sheen of historic centers. The old cobbled squares, canals and copper spires still remain. Though locals understood the greatness of this city only recently, people from other places were quick to head here. I must say, this is not like another regular holiday spot, that’s full of fun aimed at tourists. In other words, it is Eco-friendly, safe and well-connected. Though I am not a native, nor do I know the local language, I was able to get around and speak with people, since most of them speak English very well.

Since it is close to Olympics and we’d just hosted the Queen’s Jubilee, I thought flaunting something patriotic that mixes with the environment would be nice. If you are going on a relaxed vacation trip, to a place that’s worth your while and time, looking at a place that’s not too expensive, Copenhagen is the most happening and exciting place to be! Though it’s not a cheap destination, it is not costly like Paris, or New York!
